My Favorite Model

My publisher is doing a compilation book entitled "My Favorite Model" and has asked me to participate. Though it's a lovely concept, it's also pure evil as I've had real difficulty choosing A model. My list isn't huge, but there are definitely more than one. For the record, let me just say that the list includes but is not limited to Darenzia, Emily Marilyn, Apnea, and Masuimi. But, because I had to choose, I chose Lorraine. The choice probably had as much to do with the fact that I REALLY love the images we shot recently, and because she's on the cover of my book... Any one of the others could have made it instead and I loathe the idea that their feelings might be hurt. I mean, really... ONE? Couldn't it have been "My top 10 favorite models"?

"With "favorite" we do not necessarily mean your partner or a person you are personally close to, but a model you like working with as a photographer most. This is an anthology about a professional relationship..."

I ended up going through all of our shoots since 2003. Just saying that doesn't seem right. It has to have been longer than that. I feel like we've been working together for a decade or more. LOL I mean that in a good way.

Here are a couple old photos that I haven't thought about in a long time.


This is a photograph of Lorraine and her former slave. He had a thing for Persephone so we arranged a shoot with both Lorraine and Miss P for his visit. We shot a bunch that day and this trampling set was one of them. Though it's not one of the images I'm submitting for the book, I still quite like it, the simplicity of it.


And then there's this picture of Lorraine and Masuimi, still one of my favorite shots of all time. Man, we had a blast that day, both models in their prime, and I was kinda on too, if I do say so myself. =)
